  • COOPERATIVE TECHNOLOGY                        

                     The major factor of this complex process implies the perspective, optimal and pregressive learning methods, otherwise called  the technology of interation, its basis being the new philosophy of constructivism and post-modernism. The latter has been the methodological foundation of education in the XXI cetury.

                 The main idea of the philosophy considers the necessity of teaching, bringing up new presonalities – active, creative and responsible ones, able to respect social diversity, cultures dialogue and teacher-student reciprocity. The technology beased on this philosophy (cooperative technology, method of critical pedagogics, pedagogical anthropology, authentic ethnic talk, project presenation, ect.) assumes the organization of joint learning process by means of team work diversity. It supposes the necessity of students mutual assisrance as well as their identity in learning process.

                   Five basic elements characterize cooperative technology:

    1)      Positive Interdependence is a component of the situation, when a separate student success depends on team- work results

    2)      Mutual Aid Support is a verbal reciprocal action betweeen members of the group, the dialogues resulting in successful team-work.

    3)      Personal Responsibility reveals itself in estimating each team member by others

    4)      Small Group Mutul Work Skills presupposes to inculcate certain social abilities: leadership, communication, confidence in partners and conflict solving

    5)      Concerted Results Analyses teachers the  estimation team work.

    In case the cooperative learning process is realized effectively, the anticipated results ( feed-back) are as follows:

    • self appraisal raise

    • achievements advance

    • social support increase

    • skills of adequate conduct imrovement

    • personal motivation raise

    • learning activity increase

    • attitude to school and teachers improvement

    • positive psychological control and self-control
