Our victories

Rules of admission

15 years ago the Lyceum was thought of becoming a school with cherishing and promoting high ideals, moral values, like-minded people, professional experience and generosity of human relations.

The atmosphere of harmony, special lyceum spirit  and national identity have always been the core targets of the Lyceum founders’ concern. Nowadays UHL is certain to be:

•  a type of a new educational institution with genuine innovative education concept established as a constitutional part of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University

• an intellectual- spiritual centre of the Ukrainian elite breeding;

• an initiator of the international education standards introduced into praxis;

• inculcating an intelligent attitude to the duty – to serve Motherland ( inculcating the love of Native land)

• a repeated prize-winner within the Kyiv golden ten;

• successful realization of gifted students development programme

• feeling concern of personal development furthering students’ self-cognitions, perceiving the nature of a human being and  the Universal; nation and mankind;

• creation and application of the acme education system;

• the staff of highly qualified teachers and educators  including scholars, honoured teachers of Ukraine, specialists in methods of teaching, repeated prize-winners and laureates  of All-Ukrainian competition “Best Teacher Award”

• becoming a centre of tentative approbation of the “Lyceum-Family” programme and “Advanced Education Technologies”

• annual holding initiator  of seminars, international conferences, symposiums on particular issues;

• publishing of 12 methodological compilations and manuals;

• professional programmes and projects;

• students’ repeated winner in  All-Ukrainian Olympiads and SAS

• active participation in TV projects, quiz shows, various children’ programmes

• partnership relations

•  supplying unique educational base:

 - 21 studies equipped with modern facilities

- 2 computer centers with Internet access

- choreography facilities and sport equipment

- tennis court

- health centre ( phyto-bar, a room for relaxation, mechanical massage and cosy coffee bar)

• the art centre including the picture gallery and Ukraine Cultural Heritage museum
